I founded CFOPRO to fill a gap I saw in the market high-growth, investor-backed companies often need CFO-level guidance, but don’t require (or can’t yet afford) a full-time hire. That’s where I come in, providing flexible, tailored CFO leadership without the full-time burden.

Kate Douglass
Kate is a senior finance professional with over two decades of experience guiding dynamic businesses through growth and transformation. She has held leadership roles in ASX-listed and multinational companies, specializing in financial strategy, ERP implementation, and cross-functional collaboration. Kate is highly skilled in systems such as NetSuite, Xero, and QuickBooks, and has a proven track record of delivering robust financial processes and driving operational improvements.
Outside of work, Kate has a love for the outdoors and the ocean. She’s worked as a dive master in Mozambique and explored some of the world’s most iconic dive sites, from Lake Malawi and South Africa to Egypt and the Maldives. When she’s not underwater, she enjoys hiking, wildlife, and spending time at the beach with her two sons. Her curiosity and passion for new experiences—whether traveling through Africa or running a marathon—reflect the same energy and commitment she brings to her professional life.
Stacey Wheeler
Stacey studied Accounting & Financial Management at Loughborough University in the UK. Stacey has over 12 years accounting experience having trained with PwC in the UK where she became a Chartered Accountant in 2006. Prior to re-locating to Brisbane in 2008, Stacey spent time working within the PwC offshore private client arm in Jersey.
Stacey was a championship level swimmer in the youth leagues and now spends her spare time with her young, active, family enjoying the QLD lifestyle.
